Nordic fitness training

Our cross-country specialist Michi is coming to the Arthurhaus for 2 days and has come up with a great program for you. We offer special health and fitness training for beginners and advanced athletes, which is ideal preparation for a wide range of outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, ski touring, trail running, hiking and the like.

Introduction to Nordic walking (+ cross-country skiing)
Rope pull training
Imitation and stabilization exercises
Theraband training

Those who are particularly interested will receive an introduction to training with “skikes” (off-road roller skis), classic roller skis and skating roller skis. If there is enough snow (which we assume there will be :-)), there will also be an introduction to cross-country skiing techniques (skating and classic).

Dog paradise in the mountains - vacation & training

On April 3, after dinner in the Blaue Stub’n, there will be a free 2-hour lecture entitled “My dog – the (un)known creature”.

Dog trainer and dog psychologist Eva Windisch talks about modern cynological knowledge about dogs, dispels old myths and fairy tales and teaches you new things about your four-legged friend that you probably didn’t know before.

In the two following course days, we learn to go through all everyday situations without stress and pressure, relaxed and without commands, no matter what problems the dog has, and show him that with us at his side everything becomes incredibly easy. Topics such as walking on a lead, off-leash, recall, leash aggression, barking behavior, biting, hecticness, communication problems, fearfulness and insecurity are worked through step by step and possible solutions are developed. Together we will learn how easy life with dogs can be – even with “behavioral” dogs. For a happy and relaxed coexistence.

Participation 300,- Euro per family plus overnight stay in the Arthurhaus.
