Wild(e) herb cuisine
Many of our native wild herbs are wrongly referred to as “non-herbs” these days. Yet they contain so many good and valuable ingredients that we should definitely make use of!
Often you just need to be shown and explained what you can do with what. And that’s exactly what this herbal experience is all about. It’s time to give native wild herbs a permanent place in our lives again!
The “Wild(e) Kräuterküche” herb experience is probably the most enjoyable way to do this. We also put the motto “Regional instead of from everywhere” into practice in a delicious and sustainable way.
So let’s set off and discover the fragrant and delicious alpine and mountain herbs in front of the wonderful panorama of Hochkönig and the Mandlwände around the Berghotel Arthurhaus on our joint herb hike!
We immerse ourselves in the wonderful world of wild herbs and medicinal plants. We learn lots of exciting and
interesting facts and collect a colorful selection of these herbal treasures for the subsequent herbal workshop.
We use the collected alpine and mountain herbs to prepare a small, delicious organic herb menu together for our culinary herb lunch break.

Forest bathing
See, smell, feel, listen
There is so much to observe and discover in the forest!
We immerse ourselves in the soothing and invigorating “power of the forest” and reflect on the treasures that
nature has to offer. With each conscious deep breath, we enter an increasingly relaxed state and leave the hectic pace of everyday life behind us.
Before breakfast, we set off into the nearby forest in front of the beautiful panorama of the Mandlwände. While “forest bathing” together at 1500m, we revive our connection to nature and experience what “the power of the forest” means and can do for us humans.
The conscious immersion through various exercises that appeal to our senses and the resulting particularly intensive stay in the forest is known as “forest bathing”.
Our immune system, blood pressure, stress hormones, nervous system and heart rate benefit from a conscious stay in the forest! There are more and more studies worldwide that confirm the positive effects of forest bathing on people. Experts even refer to this as “forest medicine”. And the best thing is, you can get this kind of natural “medicine” without a prescription!
A lovely end to our forest bathing is the joint tea ceremony in the middle of nature, where we let the
forest experience sink in once again!
Afterwards, we make our way back to the Berghotel Arthurhaus, relaxed and well fortified by the power of the forest, and enjoy the sumptuous breakfast buffet.

Yoga
Namasté - in nature
Yoga calms the mind and strengthens and relaxes the body. This is particularly inspiring in nature, in the open air and close to the earth. Feel the power of this special place and recharge your batteries!
Yoga has been proven to have a variety of health-promoting effects. Various breathing and physical exercises make fascia and joints more supple, strengthen the muscles and can alleviate aches and pains. As meditation in motion, however, the main aim is to calm the mind and soul. This grounding is particularly harmonious in the great outdoors. The platform on our power place in the hotel garden between the trees offers a unique setting for such sustainable relaxation!
If you have already practiced yoga, then you know how wonderfully beneficial the morning yoga practice in nature is and if it is your first time, then let yourself be enchanted by the unforgettable atmosphere of the extraordinary yoga practice and just give it a try!
